We don't sell many training aids at Spargo Golf, but this is one we really, really like. Nothing gimmicky, any golfer can see the benefits without needing some long fabricated explanation. The SwingRite is a tool that can grow with you, in addition easily kept in the bag without a goofy long fishing-pole-looking-thing sticking out of your bag. The SwingRite is weighted to help warm you up before the round and mimics the feel of a full length club (but its shorter) so can be swung indoors (stay away from ceiling lights!) if you have the room in the winter time to stay loose. Lastly, a tension knob that can be adjusted to skill level and individual golfers that allows you to get better, increase tension, and get better still. The noise the ring makes when it snaps down gives a great visual to where you release your wrists and expel your power, hopefully thru the ball at impact, and not behind or in front of the hitting area. Read below for more information from the manufacturer, otherwise, the SwingRite is SPARGO APPROVED!

Wrist hinge, also called “lag” is very important in the golf swing. Your wrist joints are among some of the fastest in your body. Hinge your wrists on the backswing, then unhinge them at the correct spot on the downswing, and your clubhead speed will explode. It’s all about timing. Try to get the fastest part of the downswing to occur near the bottom of the swing arc, at ball impact. If you release the club too early or too late, you are robbing yourself of speed.
This is exactly what the SwingRite does! It gets you to unhinge those wrists at the bottom of the swing, creating correct release and excellent clubhead speed which results in maximum distance.

How Does It Work?
You use SwingRite like a golf club! It’s as easy as 1-2-3!
Set head at desired number (see diagram to right).
Pull ring toward grip end beyond triggers as far as it will go.
Then swing ’till you “click the club” at your imagined impact point. Perfect impact position is between your feet, where the imaginary ball would be.
To work on swing speed, turn the head towards #1 position. As you turn the head towards #1, it will become more and more difficult for the SwingRite to make the “click” sound, thus forcing you to increase your swing speed. **REMEMBER: correct hand release along with great swing speed allows for a far and straight golf shot!
